The purpose of this website is to assist applicants and programme managers of the 2000-2006 Objective 2 Structural Fund Programme to help embed ICT in their proposals and actions in order to improve their delivery and to meet one of the programmes objectives, that of developing the Information Society (ICT).
Having a true "Information Society" would help to bring the benefits of ICT to the region, thereby supporting the development of the region as an attractive and competitive economy and a cohesive society.
